Two different types of distributor were fitted to the TD & TF. All TDs up to chassis No TD24488 were fitted with the DKY4A type distributor numbered 40162. Later TDs and all TFs were fitted with the D2A4 type distributor numbered 40368 on TDs and 40367 on TFs. The difference being the advance curve.
