The 210 mm Nebelwefer 42 was a 5-tube multiple rocket launcher mounted on a modified single-axle mount with a stabilizing base similar to that of the 3.7 cm Pak 36. The launchers were used by the smoke troop, whose main task was to fire smoke and gas grenades. However, the 210 mm grenades were purely high-explosive grenades that could be fitted with impact or delay fuses. This Nebelwerfer was used in many theaters of war except Norway.
