Copper State models releases a new-mold Nieuport XVII in its late version! This aircraft had a stronger engine and bigger wing than the Nieuport II, and had an excellent climb rate. At first they were equipped with a Lewis machine gun on the wing, but soon the French Army replaced it with a propeller-synchronized Vickers machine gun. Although it was standard to have only one machine gun, this later version was equipped with several Lewis machine guns and Vickers guns.
This kit features fine details, and the parts in the cockpit are intricately reproduced. Includes photo-etched parts and decals by Cartograf for four versions.
